A decade ago I was clocking in, clocking out and wondering, “Is this it?” Since then I’ve travelled to more than 100 countries and lived in corners of the world I never imagined — all trying to make sense of the pull to live a life that actually feels like mine.
Now I’m travelling Australia full-time in a van I built myself — exploring off-grid places, telling stories, and giving this new dream a real crack.
This website is my travel diary… the good days, the lonely ones, the breakdowns (mechanical and mental), and everything in between.
If you’ve ever felt that nudge to do something different, I hope this space gives you the courage to take the first step.

You don’t need a fancy camera or heaps of experience to take better travel photos — just a few simple tips explained in a normal, no-BS way.
I’ve spent more than a decade travelling and teaching photography, and the thing I enjoy most is helping everyday travellers get photos they’re actually proud of. These tutorials aren’t technical or overwhelming… they’re quick, practical ideas you can use straight away, whether you’re shooting on your phone or a basic camera.
If you want better photos of the places you’re exploring, this is a great place to start.
This is where everything comes together – the road, the van, the hikes, the breakdowns, and the small moments that make it all worth it. Every episode is a chapter of the story as it’s unfolding. No scripts. No fake drama. Just life on the road in Australia.

Building this van was a lifelong dream. I didn’t just want a camper — I wanted a home on wheels. I built it from the ground up with no trade background, just patience, a clear vision, and a lot of help from my old man along the way.
What surprised me most was how achievable it all was. The more I learnt, the more confidence I gained — and piece by piece, this thing slowly turned into the home I’d imagined for years.
If you’re planning your own build (or just dreaming about it), here’s a look at how I put mine together: the layout, the electrical setup, the features I love, and a few mistakes you can learn from too.
Sometimes video isn’t enough. These are the stories, thoughts and moments that are easier to share in words – the stuff that happens in between the highlights.

The real reasons I walked away from comfort, routine and a steady paycheck to live in a van and chase something I couldn’t shake.

It’s not all sunsets and drone shots. Here’s how it actually feels to spend long stretches of time by yourself, and what I’ve learnt from it.

A growing list of the places that stopped me in my tracks – remote campsites, quiet bays and stretches of road I still think about.

The honest advice I wish someone had given me before I started: money, mindset, expectations and the fears that show up when you finally go.
A curated collection of my favourite moments and designs — created for people who feel connected to this journey. Whether you want a print for your wall or a piece of merch that travels with you, this is where everything I make ends up.

Clothing and accessories inspired by life on the road — simple designs, real stories, and pieces that feel like part of the journey.

Photographs from life on the road — sunrises from forgotten campsites, the outback under stars, and the kind of places you remember long after you’ve left. Prints that bring a bit of adventure into your home.

The places I’ve actually stayed, explored and loved — from remote outback camps to quiet beaches and underrated towns. Road-tested, honest and built for travellers.
If you’ve ever wondered, “Could I actually live on the road?” — this guide is for you. I’ve pulled together the hacks, lessons and mistakes I’ve learnt from living full-time in a van around Australia. No fluff. Just the real stuff I wish I knew earlier.
You’ll also get the occasional email with updates from the road, new videos, behind-the-scenes stories and things I don’t always share publicly.
